Porcelain benchtops, sintered for high performance

Previously the exclusive distributor of the Italian Atlas Plan porcelain, Smartstone has introduced a new range of porcelain benchtop surfaces called the Sintered Collection, reimagined and sintered to provide an exceptional alternative to engineered stone. This innovative surface solution continues Smartstone’s more than 20 years of leadership in stone benchtop aesthetics, performance and capabilities.

Composed of natural raw materials, the new, reimagined porcelain collection is made using a "sintering" process, where slabs are compressed at higher pressure and heated at higher temperature than traditional porcelain. Due to its composition and manufacturing process, the Collection is classified as both porcelain and sintered stone and exempt from the engineered stone ban that took effect in Australia in July 2024.

Offering refined aesthetics and exceptional performance and durability, 24 new Smartstone sintered porcelain benchtop surfaces are now available in Australia.
